Is PumpTop TV like regular TV?
PumpTop TV runs a pre-recorded program that last approximately five minutes, then starts over. The news is updated throughout the day and the traffic information is updated every five minutes. As fuel consumers approach the gas pump, a sensor turns on PumpTop TV's audio.  Shortly after consumers leave the gas pump after fueling, PumpTop TV's audio is turned off.
 
What is the purpose of PumpTop TV?
PumpTop TV provides your fuel customers current news, weather, traffic and entertainment.  It provides a new type of media and an excellent opportunity to draw your fuel customers to your C-store, service bay, car wash or other offering.  Having PumpTop TV on your pumps also is a great way to update your station's image.
 
What does PumpTop TV's 5-minutes of programming consist of?
Video news clips; sports, entertainment and business headlines; current traffic conditions; current and 7-day weather conditions and forecasts; public service announcements and advertising; and customized promotions for your station.

How many advertisements do I receive within PumpTop TV's programming?
Within each program, two ten-second advertisements (with audio) will play to promote your station's C-store, auto service, car wash or other offering.

How often may I change my advertisements?
You may change two (2) of your advertisements each month.  Additional changes are billed at a reduced rate. 

Do I have to design my ads?
You may, but we also offer you a password-protected website where you may choose from a wide variety of ad samples and easily customize ads specifically for your station(s).

What are my costs associated with PumpTop TV?
PumpTop TV pays for all equipment and installation costs. Retailer must provide electricity and inform us when a unit is not functioning.
 
How do the PumpTop TV units get electricity?
PumpTop TV taps into the conduit from the bottom of the fuel dispenser.  The interior of the pump is not opened or accessed.

How much income will PumpTop TV generate for me?
In addition to the increased revenue from higher product and services sales at your station(s), if your station(s) qualifies, you may receive "rent" payments from PumpTop TV.  Your station(s) size, traffic, location and other factors are considered in our qualification process.

If my station(s) qualifies, how often am I paid "rent" by PumpTop TV?
You are paid quarterly (every three months).

What is the installation process for PumpTop TV network at my station(s)?
The first step is a "site visit" conducted by our Retailer Support Team to verify your traffic and fuel dispenser models. We will then work with you to coordinate a mutually acceptable date for installation. The installation process typically lasts approximately one hour per pump, and we will work with you to perform installation around your busy periods.
 
Who maintains the PumpTop TV units?
PumpTop TV has a full-time team of technicians and engineers responsible for maintaining the units and ensuring PumpTop TV continually delivers an informative, entertaining experience to your fuel customers. 
 
Who owns the PumpTop TV units?
AdtekMedia, Inc. is the corporate parent of PumpTop TV brand and owns and operates the PumpTop TV units and network.
 
Does PumpTop TV present any safety issues?
No.  All PumpTop TV units bear the UL Classification mark, which means they have been tested and evaluated by United Laboratories for specific properties, including hazards (such as flammability), performance under specific conditions (such as hazardous locations), and regulatory codes.

What is my liability should the PumpTop TV units become damaged due to vandalism?
PumpTop TV is responsible for all equipment and network maintenance and support. PumpTop TV does not hold Retailers liable for theft, vandalism, or damage to the screens.

Does PumpTop TV run 24/7?
It can, but we will turn the systems on/off according to your business hours and preferences. We will also adjust the audio volume according to a schedule. For example, if your station is in a residential area without a lot of traffic noise in the mornings and evenings, we can lower the audio volume during those times.

How does PumpTop TV receive updated or new information?
Once PumpTop TV is installed at your station, it accesses the internet and downloads updated news and other content at various times each day.

Does my station(s) need to have internet connection?
No.  PumpTop TV will provide and maintain internet connection. 

How much electricity does PumpTop use?
Each PumpTop TV screen's electricity usage is equivalent to one 60-watt light bulb.
